My current TV Receiver Direct TV Tivo Direct launches the new HD channels?
Currently I have a Direct TV Tivo (the latest supported model) and I was wondering if I can continue to receive the channels when they launch their 70 new HD channels. I only ask because I have heard the need for live TV news to see these new HD channels and do not want this new receiver. So I'll be okay? Thanks for any information!
I guess when you say yoiu have the latest version of Tivo DirecTV offered a Tivo, which is only R10 for standard definition TV. If I'm right in the unit above or a Tivo Tiov units (other than the HR10-250 DirecTV Tivo is the HD programming that is), they all work and continue to work for programming Standard DIRECTV. When he says he will DirecTV offers more HD channels, then it is only for customers who own and use DIRECTV HD programming and TiVo HD DVR or HD DVR. So do not worry, it has and always will support standard definition TV and DVR .. Hope this helps ..
