i just bought a computer and its giving me some troubles with running certain programs?

ok i just bought this computer like a week ago from tiger direct. and i installed JLC’s internet Tv from download.com and it doesn’t work on this computer, like it worked on the other one. then i installed “pod to pc” an ipod transfer program and every time i try to open it, it says its created an error and must close. is there something fundamentally wrong with the computer software or is it just minor inconveniences?

anyway i can make this program work? how am i gonna use my ipod?

well… depending on the laptops health maybe the windows system is corrupt?… usually if i get errors with programs that should work i would just reinstall my Windows XP or Vista (depending on which OS the laptop has) but sometimes that don’t work either if its the program being corrupt. but like you said it worked on your other one. so i would start with a fresh install of Windows maybe? (depending if it is fresh.)
