How does satellite TV work?
I tried to find an answer on the web, and made an investigation and has no nothing found, here a lot was my first question: Why I can not feed Europe's satellite in my DirecTV? I think that may be political, but you can order from anywhere in the world, but countries like Australia, the United Kingdom, France, you can order. Does anyone know why? I'm in Michigan, U.S., I found the answer, and that is the closest thing I ask: No, you can not see the American satellite channels when you are in Europe. Can you see the European satellites of the United States. The antenna (the dish) can not receive satellite signals on the horizon, and since the earth is round, satellites United States are below the horizon in Europe. Europe and the Middle East, however, is essentially a zone, and a plate in Sweden can pick up signals identical to those Tunisia, and vice versa. Well, I know that CNN is live TV interview when someone in your newsroom in London and using satellites, so why not I?
Well on the one hand, television receivers direct satellite programming from Direct TV and not any other satellite. Direct TV signals are also very strong and does not require a larger dish capable of receiving signals from other satellites you need a dish 31 inches or more and a FTA receiver. Living in Michigan means that you have the satellite in the sky, satellites, most are released in North America and South America, there are a couple of satellites over the Atlantic with a beam in the North American region, some Italian and Spanish chains, but depends heavily on living in the United States to receive them. If you live east of the Mississippi River «Back to lucky enough to get most of the available satellites, the people of California do not receive many satellites as because it would have no line of sight to the satellites of the Atlantic, even if you have an obstructed view of a building or a tree should place the dish high enough or far from the obstruction can see the satellite. European programming is available through Globecast and other satellites in the U.S. but found that a satellite programs in the Americas and not a satellite in Europe.
