Direct TV HD DVR question?
Im getting an HDTV for Christmas and I know that is an option for an HD DVR at no cost on the front? My brother has an HD receiver with HD access. Our father had dishes and upgraded to a DVR with them a few months ago and he said it would cost $ 100, but agreed to sign a new contract that all you have to do is pay monthly. I'm looking at the site of Direct TV and I can not find any agreement as that, but I think it would do something like that if the dish is correct? Logic as phone companies do. I have my iPhone 3G 2 years ago (it was like $ 400 or $ 500 at the time) for nothing, because we signed a contract. Dishes and Cingular had nearly 10 years to make sure it's not going anywhere fast lol wondering if anyone knew if Direct TV offers something, so I would not have to pay $ 200 for a HD receiver.
