Satellite TV receivers for global coverage?
I work in a large boat and need a global coverage of satellite TV out. Our PAL and NTSC TV, so I can use a sky box to pick up the DirectTV coverage. I see that are encrypted using Videoguard? I realize that still have to change the LNB to match the United States have polizisation circular. I'm not after picking up Sky TV when I'm in the U.S. just using the receiver the sky to capture the local DirecTV signal to 110W. I realize I have to change the map.
I'm sure it will not be possible due to the fact that the box Heaven receives the signal footprint of the ASTRA satellite signal only covers the United Kingdom and parts of Europe according to the size of your plate, that is …. if you go to Spain need a larger dish to capture more of the print. So on that basis, I'm sure it does not work in the United States …..
